Andrew Lentz is a proud lifelong resident and active community member of Hempfield Township. Andrew graduated from Hempfield Area High School in 2021. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.

Andrew brings many years of financial experience to the table, including experience in banking, bookkeeping, and management. Further, his banking background brings more specialized skills, such as security, confidentiality, and large account management. Through his role in community banking, Andrew understands what it means to work one-on-one regularly with people, as well as giving back to the community in which he lives and serves.

Andrew’s engagement and activity within the community show he is ready to continue his support and give back as the next tax collector. For years, he has been involved in community projects, volunteer events, and showing up when it matters most. Some of the ways Andrew has supported his community include cleaning local roadways through a program sponsored by PennDOT, walking alongside others in the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” project, donating to many philanthropy projects, and showing up to public township meetings to ensure he understands what is happening in Hempfield Township.
